Previous British Broadcasting Corporation Advisers Undergo Parliamentary Grilling After Assertions of Prejudice in Leaked Document

She commences by giving context to the leaked document authored by Michael Prescott and published in a national newspaper.

"I don't want the BBC slanting this way or that way, I just want it balanced, impartial and just," he declares.

Upon being questioned whether he believes the BBC is structurally prejudiced, the adviser responds: "Absolutely not. To be clear, tons of stuff the British Broadcasting Corporation produces is exceptional - both informative and entertainment programming."

However, he continues: "There remains significant effort that requires attention at the BBC."

The second former external British Broadcasting Corporation specialist examined by the committee, Caroline Daniel, remarks she views the British Broadcasting Corporation extremely earnestly and that it operates a "continuous process and active debate" across dynamic and complex subjects.

"Was the BBC willing to conduct a proper dialogue and debate and take action?" she reflects. "As I see it, yes they were."
