Loyal supporters of the pop star are calling for that a person who breached a barricade and seized the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good launch be detained or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared video shows the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the shocked performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records revealed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Notorious Troublemaker", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes clips of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" wrote one more comment on Instagram.

A number of attendees also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while some demanded online networks to block Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Numerous of attendees had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore mall, including some who had queued for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The film, to be released on the 21st of November, is the second of a dual interpretation of the acclaimed Broadway and West End show Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely bond between two very different characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was adorned in a light pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who portrays the wicked witch, wore a black tube gown embroidered with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and earned 10 Oscar nominations, earning several for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
